Camila Rivero is an Account Executive at Mekky Media Relations, where she supports daily account activities, monitors media and industry trends and develops written content including press releases, media pitches and other communications materials. In 2026, she was recognized with a Silver Award in the PR Up & Comer category at the Bulldog PR Awards, which are judged exclusively by working journalists and honor excellence across the public relations industry.
Prior to joining Mekky Media, Camila interned at The Evoke Agency, a digital marketing agency, where she gained experience in content creation, social strategy, influencer marketing and market research. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and minors in digital media analytics and digital studies. While on campus, she was involved with Her Campus magazine as a writer, the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and a student-run public relations firm.
Outside of work, Camila loves to travel and enjoys exploring new places, foods and cultures. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, thrifting and discovering new music.
