In 2021, Fresh Wave came to Mekky Media with a clear ask - Mekky Media needed to amplify the brand in the crowded odor eliminator space, with a particular focus on Fresh Wave’s natural - and effective - products.
RESULTS:
In a multi-pronged PR campaign, Mekky Media developed a unique strategy that dovetailed product-centered, consumer-facing pitches with business/trade angles to shine a spotlight on Fresh Wave and differentiate the brand from its competitors.

Because the products are so versatile, Mekky Media was sure to center Fresh Wave in a number of “situations,” broadening the consumer angle so a variety of potential customers could see where Fresh Wave would fit into their life. For instance, secured media ranged from general holiday gift guides to specific articles for #VanLife, pet owners, young professionals and more.
In addition, Mekky Media also went to the root of Fresh Wave’s internal teams and centered Dr. Laura Haupert, Chief Scientific Officer, as a groundbreaking woman in the STEM field.
