LIQR Box asked Mekky Media to help with the opening of a brand new concept in River North with a short timeline during the slow winter months. Client originally wanted to open mid-December, but after experiencing delays, decided to open New Year’s Eve. The timeline was short and most people already had plans on the biggest going-out night of the year. Makky Media strategized and planned a series of events opening weekend, while also concepting a media and VIP event a week later.
RESULTS:
After carefully detailed messaging and launch announcements and interviews, Mekky Media team secured 73 million impressions for the opening of LIQR Box. The Mekky team also released news in phases, and used opening weekend to invite VIP’s and influencers. After the holiday, the main focus was on food and happy hour deals. The club was packed and targets were reached.
