Entrepreneur Marc Fienberg partnered with Mekky Media Relations to support the launch of his first book, Dad’s Great Advice for Teens, aiming to raise overall awareness and increase book sales. Initially focusing on gift guides for the holiday season, the Mekky team developed a national media list, targeting lifestyle + consumer publications and market-specific broadcast outlets. 

RESULTS:

At the top of 2021, the team pivoted to thought leadership opportunities for Marc, targeting parenting publications and podcasts for timely news hooks including short lead, “New Year, New Great Advice for Parents and Teens” and National Teenager Day, and long lead, Father’s Day. 

Mekky secured Marc’s first broadcast interview with ABC 7 Chicago Weekend, the city’s top-rated weekend news broadcast, for National Teenager Day. The segment was picked up by Yahoo! News and MSN, and helped move Dad’s Great Advice up the Amazon Bestsellers List by more than 20,000 in ranking. Mekky media secured over 221 million earned media impressions.
