Marissa is an Account Executive at Mekky Media, where she supports multiple accounts by pitching, writing content and client media relations.

 

Marissa returns to Mekky Media after originally interning for the agency during the summer of 2021. After graduating from Indiana University with a B.A. in Journalism and a specialization in PR and strategic communications, Marissa began her post-grad career at ICF Next. There, she represented national brands including Bissell, Jim Beam and Muscle Milk, before transitioning to health and wellness-focused accounts at Dunn Pellier Media, driving media coverage for Essentia Mattress, Ultimate Performance and Dr. Mindy Pelz. Throughout her career, Marissa has secured placements in top-tier national media, including Forbes, CBS News Online, INSIDER, Bustle, KTLA and more.

When she’s not working, Marissa loves keeping up with pop culture, listening to music, going to concerts, traveling and spending quality time with her friends and family.
