AgeOptions, a Chicago-based organization supporting aging individuals, partnered with Mekky Media to raise awareness about Medicare fraud, educate the public on prevention and promote its Fraud Fair during Medicare Fraud Prevention Week (June 3-9, 2024). Mekky Media crafted a PR strategy with key messaging and tailored pitches highlighting the prevalence of Medicare fraud, its impact and actionable prevention steps.

During the campaign, which ran from April 17 to June 21, Mekky Media secured 25 media placements and a total reach of 122,791,017 impressions. Coverage spanned prominent local outlets like WGN, NBC5, FOX32, WVON, Patch and The Chronicle, amplifying AgeOptions’ mission and resources.
