Belle Tire, one of America’s most trusted tire and vehicle service retailers, came to Mekky Media in winter of 2022 ahead of their first Illinois opening, with plans to open 60 stores in the Chicagoland area over the next three years. Mekky Media conducted a multi-faceted PR campaign that began with grand opening event support and evolved into a deeper strategy to center Belle Tire as a trusted retailer in the region.
For the location openings, Mekky Media conducted a launch plan that included regional press releases announcing the business expansion, media training for leadership, pitches around the openings, localized grand opening event invitations and on-site support. Following the successful launch, we then developed creative, front-of-mind pitch topics ranging from fuel efficiency to pothole season and offered Belle Tire leadership as experts for the media to utilize.
Over the six-month project, Mekky Media secured 26 media placements and over 4 billion earned media impressions, and cemented Belle Tire as a trusted partner in Chicagoland and beyond.
