Allison DuBois graduated from Edgewood College in 2018 with a B.S. in Marketing and a certificate in Public Relations and earned her MBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in 2025. During her time in undergrad, she completed over 600 hours of community service through the Bonner Leader Program, which earned her a ROSA Award (Recognizing Outstanding Student Achievement Award) from Edgewood. In 2018, she was also the recipient of Edgewood College’s Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar and Leadership Award through the business school.
Prior to joining Mekky Media Relations, Allison started her career in healthcare association event management, where she led conference planning across the country. Following her time as an event planner, she transitioned into her public relations journey at a local agency out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and later at an agency out of New York. Allison’s public relations experience spans industries including fashion, insurance, media, transportation, food & beverage, packaging, healthcare, and more. She has secured consumer, business, and trade press in prominent outlets such as POPSUGAR, WebMD, The Chicago Tribune, Woman’s World, NPR, BRIDES, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, INSIDER and more.
In recognition of her work and leadership in the public relations field, Allison was named one of the 30 Under 30 recipients at the 2025 Publicity Club of Chicago’s Golden Trumpet Awards and received the PRSA WisCOMsin Young Professional of the Year Award in 2023, presented by the Madison and Northeast Wisconsin chapters of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
In her free time, Allison loves to golf, cheer on the Green Bay Packers, thrift, bike, downhill ski, read, and spend time with her husband Adam, their son Henry, and their pets, Cleo and Scout.
