Hallie Long is a Senior Account Executive at Mekky Media Relations, where she plays an integral role in supporting and executing day-to-day public relations strategies across a range of client accounts. She collaborates closely with account leads and managers on initiatives that include writing and reviewing press materials, pitching stories and much more. She was recently named to the Publicity Club of Chicago’s 2025 30 Under 30 class and recognized among The PR Net’s 2024 Marcomms Industry Rising Stars.
Prior to joining Mekky Media as a full-time team member, Hallie interned with Mekky for several months while finishing her final year of college. Shortly after graduating, she was hired as an Account Coordinator, climbed to Account Executive and then promoted to her current position as a Senior Account Executive.
In her time at Mekky Media Relations, Hallie has grown her skills exponentially by seeking out responsibility and working with clients like Hyde Park Summer Fest, CAN TV, CLL Society and more. One of her favorite accounts is Chicago Scholars as she enjoys supporting its annual event, the Chicago Scholars Onsite College and Leadership Forum.
Hallie graduated Magna Cum Laude from DePaul University in 2022 with a B.A. in Public Relations and Advertising and a minor in Journalism. During her time at DePaul, she was published several times in DePaul’s student newspaper, The DePaulia, where she interviewed a number of professors, local community members, and students. When she’s not working, Hallie loves attending concerts, reading, cooking new recipes, and spending time with family and friends.
