Kendra Cole is an award-winning strategic consultant for PR/marketing/events, with more than 13 years providing strategy, consultation and execution for both global and boutique brands consumer/lifestyle, hospitality and cause-related clients across the country.
Kendra’s work spans a number of verticals, with clients including OnlyFans, Pedigree Dog Food, McCormick Spices, Banana Bros., Maxwell House Coffee, The Mom Project, E3 Radio and BBVA Compass. By creating meaningful relationships, Kendra has earned client coverage in top publications, including Good Morning America, TODAY, Chicago Tribune, Block Club Chicago, Ozy Media, ABC 7 Chicago, Forbes and more.
In her spare time, Kendra is committed to uplifting her community through education, advocacy and testimony. In 2021, she was appointed to the State Emergency Medical Services for Children Advisory Board as a parent representative and also a member of the Family Advisory Network (FAN), which facilitates the inclusion of family representatives in state EMSC programs.
She proudly serves on the board of Young, Black & Lit, a 501(c) organization committed to uplifting and celebrating representation of Black characters in children’s literature. In 2019, Mrs. Cole served as a panelist at the National APHL Newborn Screening Symposium, where she discussed the importance of access to diverse representation in pediatric healthcare settings. In 2019, she began providing pro bono services and volunteer time to the Youth Peace Center of Roseland, a non-profit organization committed to reducing gun violence among at-risk young, Black male youth in the Roseland community. Since 2017, she has dedicated a large portion of her personal time and pro bono PR services to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Illinois, providing strategic consultation and event management and assisting in parent/caregiver support groups for families that live with sickle cell disease.
Kendra earned a M.A. in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a B.A. from Howard University in Television Production.
