As the largest single-store retailer of electronics, appliances and home goods in the country, Glenview, Illinois-based ABT’s agenda for Mekky Media was two-fold: Mekky was charged with garnering ongoing national media for some of the family business’ more unique features, such as their double digit annual growth every year since their 1936 launch, their green initiatives such as their 12,000 square foot recycling center and rainwater harvesting system and their 100,000 square foot showroom. Mekky was also asked to promote in-store events locally.
