Chicago Scholars is a nonprofit that brings hundreds of talented Chicago high school students from under-resourced communities together each fall so they can be interviewed by selective colleges and universities and considered for merit aid scholarships. Offers are made on the spot and millions of dollars in aid awarded. The organization asked Mekky Media to spread awareness of its life-changing work and invite key media to cover the emotional day of interviews and offers, known as the Onsite Admissions Forum.
