Throughout the one-year partnership in 2022, Mekky Media has generated extensive coverage; nearly 200 placements and over 1.5 billion earned media impressions locally, regionally, and nationally, resulting in an agreement extension.
Initiatives such as the It’s Oksana Pop-up, Bar Siena opening, luxury retailers Louis Vuitton and Bloomies joining Old Orchard, and a major redevelopment announcement all contributed to significant coverage. Other results also included strategic collaborations, including an Earth Day event with Abt Electronics focused on recycling, and a pet-friendly initiative with Paws Chicago.
Additionally, Mekky Media offered thought leadership opportunities for the general manager, effectively raising awareness of the ongoing reinvention efforts to keep Old Orchard relevant in the dynamic market.
Our immediate goal is to complete the testing phase and achieve the certification, which will allow us to bring our product to market by the end of the year. We are actively engaging with waste to energy operators, concrete manufacturers, and the wider construction industry.
