Mekky Media Recognized at Golden Trumpets for Abt Electronics and Adalina Campaigns
The agency received two Silver Trumpets from the Publicity Club of Chicago
In recognition of its successful PR campaigns for Abt Electronics and Adalina in 2021, Mekky Media was proud to receive two Silver Trumpets in the Publicity Club of Chicago’s prestigious Golden Trumpet Awards. In-person for the first time since 2019, the awards recognized the best of Chicago’s public relations. These awards mark the seventh and eighth Golden Trumpet awards the boutique agency has received since its founding only six years ago.
As a long-time partner of Abt Electronics, Mekky Media was challenged to introduce the single-store retailer to customers outside of Chicago, centering it not just as a Chicago-area icon, but as a national player in online sales and the competitive retail and houseware industries.
In 2021 alone, Mekky Media secured 1,327 placements and 9,746,201,174 earned impressions. Mekky also secured 75 backlinks directly to Abt Electronics products, a specific goal for the retailer as it continued to expand its nationwide online services.
In a different industry, Mekky Media’s campaign for Adalina, a new modern Italian restaurant led by Michelin-starred chef Soo Ahn also generated an expansive amount of excitement and buzz.
Leveraging the expertise and storied backgrounds of Adalina’s culinary team, paired with the restaurant’s refined ambiance, Mekky drove incredible coverage ahead of and during Adalina’s grand opening, securing a total of 82 placements and 461,066,362 impressions for Adalina in just six months.
