Introduced This Year, the National Award Celebrates the Agencies and Innovators Shaping the Future of Public Relations
Ahead of its seventh anniversary, Mekky Media was selected as a Next Gen honoree by The PR Net, a network of influential leaders, entrepreneurs and publicists in the communications industry. The honor, introduced by The PR Net this year, celebrates the agencies and leaders representing the next generation of public relations.
Mekky Media received the honor due to its unique journalistic approach to public and media relations. The agency’s multidisciplinary team of fellow former journalists, as well as producers and publicists, has led to incredible growth and success for the agency and its clients alike, telling powerful stories with clear impact.

Entrants were judged by an independent committee of highly esteemed judges at the pinnacle of the communications industry, including C-suite executives and leadership from LaFORCE, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment North America, FleishmanHillard and Saks Fifth Avenue. Mekky and vice president Carleigh Rinefierd accepted the honor at an event held at Nubeluz, a rooftop cocktail bar by award-winning Chef José Andrés in New York City.
